Bu kitap / hikaye inanılmaz. En iyilerden biri. Parlak.

Birisi bana son zamanlarda Stephen King'in "gerçek edebiyat" olmadığını söyledi. Zaten "gerçek edebiyat" nedir? Eh, Stephen King'i seviyorum. Git Stephen. Kitaplarını beğendim dostum.

Although the first 2 chapters were a tad bit confusing and boring (I nearly quit whilst on the riverboat) it became a book that I didn't want to come to the end of. On the strength of this, I read a second book by Connie Willis.

I wanted to like this book. I really did. But the story sputters in fits and starts, dwelling when it shouldn't and rushing past development points where further examination would be nice. I hate to make such a blanket statement but the book was clunky and amateurish. Very disappointing.

I re-read this along with the first of the series, and must say that reading this book makes me want to learn more about Douglas Adams. I feel there are certain elements to this book that can only be fully understood with a better understanding of Adams himself. That said, it is a fantastic follow-up, though I must admit that the first is my favorite.
