This is a dark moving and memorable story. I really thought it was a true story the whole time I was reading it. Clay finds a box on his porch from Hannah, included is a tape inside. Scary thing is, Hannah committed suicide two weeks ago. On the cassettes are 13 reasons why Hannah ended her life. 13 things that people did or didn't do. Each person is asked to pass the book on to the next reason. 13 people keep the secret of knowing they had a part in a young girl ending her life. It's one of those books that makes you think about how a simple smile could change someone else's path. Or how ignoring someone else's bad day could hurt them in ways you'll never know. Your heart will break with Hannah and Clay's in this beautiful story.
