Great awakening book for a tween or teen.
I picked it up because of my pure love for Peter Wimsey...and for Harriet Vane (because if Peter loves her, okay). Walsh takes an unfinished Sayers novel and gives it her own perspective, much as Laurie R. King draws her portrait of Holmes from Mary Russell's point of view. I read it a while ago, but I really liked it at the time.
This is a very interesting story about a boy called Roy, who has recently moved from Montana to Florida. He finds it difficult to settle in a new place and in his new school. When you read this book, you learn about what friends Roy makes and who the bullies are. Most of all, you learn about his interests in the running mystery boy, Millet Fingers, and how Roy helps save the Burrow Owls. He works really hard with others to save the environment and to stop the Pancake House Project. I recomend this book.
