I would say, it is a good read. I like the suspense Sheldon put on the story. You wouldn't know that you already reached the last part of the page.
This book is the best of the series so far. The story flits between the 1940s to the present day and captures both equally well. Absolutely absorbing and I felt for all the characters and their troubles. I will be starting the next book straight away to follow Banks and his colleagues.
Nelson DeMille consistently turns out books that are difficult to put down. Wild Fire is no exception. The concept on this one is scary. We have warned the Islamic terroists that any chemical, biological or nuclear attack on any American city will result in the automatic launch of scores of nuclear missles at Islamic cities and sites. A group of right-wing ultra Conservatists have decided to take matters into their own hands to wipe out the entire Muslim world by sacrificing two American cities. They have the suitcase size bombs already in position and we have only 48 hours to stop them. Scary stuff and maybe a little to close to non-fiction.
