Read this is college-- approximately 2003. I loved it as I read it as a 20 year-old, but I feel I would love it even more as a 30 year-old, and in another decade I'm sure I'll be feeling it would be even better to read it for the first time as a 40 year-old. Because at every age I've been I've naively believed I was ahead of the game for most my age in both the experience and acceptance of death. At 29 years I'm beginning to realize I've experienced very little and really am not as zen as I would like to believe. This book incites a desire to live long and practice daily the precarious balance of holding on and letting go. I think I need many many more years to get it right...

I actually thought this one was better written than Da Vinci Code, more suspense.
