I love Cat and Bones, I seriously do. This story was absolutely great, and while I am still in the throes of kissing every word ever written, I still have to ask myself where is the end? It's not that I don't appreciate the books, but well, I guess that I don't see the ending that should come soon. Cat and Bones are together, the war is prevented, the villains are slaughtered, so what next? It just stretched too long for my liking, and I think that Cat and Bones should have their happily ever after (well, as happily as it can get for them). Aside from that fact, I also have to note that Bones was a bit subdued in this book. His potential didn't shine as bright as it should have, and Cat was very dominant here, putting him just a bit of the side, and he is not someone who should have been put aside. I loved all the rest though. I didn't know what will happen, Don near the end really made me smile, and the action was relentless during the whole book, just what I am used to from Jeaniene Frost. Vlad... I just can't wait to hear his story being told, or Ian's for that matter. If I understood correctly from the hint near the end of this book, we know who Ian might have the hots for, and I really can't wait for those stories to come out. Although none will ever be as great as Cat and Bones, I do enjoy reading those side stories.
yippee ki aye! riders of the storm.
“Adult,” well-written books on drink and drinking are few and far between, so much so that most of them seem to be hailed as classics when they're maybe nothing so special in the grand literary scheme. This slim volume is a modest, brief, inconsequential, yet thoroughly enjoyable read.
Not my favorite F. Scott...
