Though this book has some really good moments, it lacks the consistency of his other books and deserves 2½ stars. The story is sometimes difficult to follow, and why the main character is giving orders is never explained. However, this is the first book he ever published, and his writing greatly improves in his later works. White Out and the Orlov Legacy were both great.
The history in this book is absolute crap. The language was bad. However, even though I am not a fan, I can say that the author does know how to make the reader keep turning those damn pages!
This is another great adventure book from Halliburton. This is a raw tale of true unplanned adventure that spans the globe. You can't put it down.
