These short stories, ones that explain supernatural cosmic phenomena in mythical, human terms, are the type of stories I hope I can conjure for my kids. It's occasionally dense and confusing, but I think that's the point: it's nigh impossible to picture the formation of the universe, so why not try? This is worth it for the first story alone. I like the rest to varying degrees, but the first one is perfect.
