This is my favoritte book. I read it when I was in high school, I guess about 7 or 8 years ago, and it made a profound impression on me. It shows the nobility and depravity of people and the lengths we'll go to to survive and protect the ones we love. It's beautiful and sad, yet at the same time to me it's hopeful because it shows that anyone can be be redeemed through love.
I read this a long time ago, so I don't really remember any of it, but it was a good book, though a little strange at times.
