Really the greatest book of all time!
There is no doubt that this is one of the best books I have ever read. It's. So. Good. Yet so sad. It shows how one small thing that you say or do, can ruin a person's life. It has definitely made me rethink how I treat people. I make a point to try and be nice to everyone now. It's really hard to say what I love about this book. Just everything about it is really awesome and intense. I can't even describe it. But seriously, this book is so good. The way Jay Asher writes just pulls you into the story and keeps you there until the end. The characters were very relateable. When Hannah was talking on the tapes, it felt like she was right there with Clay. And Clay was so sweet. You could really tell he cared about Hannah, and you could feel his pain right along with him. All in all, a very amazing and intense book. I highly recommend it. CONTENT: Most of Hannah's reasons had to do with sexual stuff, but sex never actually happens on the page. There's a mildly graphic rape scene and some mild swearing. I'd say ages 14+.
It was a heartwarming story. It can capture you and you will never want to leave the home and journey of Despereaux. 5/5. :)
