i read this book the same way i read mutant message down under. in awe and amazement. wonder and possibility. the scenes she describes that exist underneath NYC sound like they come straight from Jules Verne. it sounds amazing. and, like mutant message down under, there are plenty of critics that say this book is made up. i find that to be completely unbeleiveable. and sad. i would love to see some of the landscapes and caverns described in this book.
This book will make you think-good for 5th-6th graders. Enjoyable for me as well.
