After the rather long slump in the middle, it did get interesting again towards the end, although now I'm going to end up having to read the next instalment. There were some parts that were beautifully written with some tender reunions. Perhaps I was a little harsh previously, the slow progress being due to myself and circumstances. In the end (of the beginning) I did enjoy this book.
interesting and a bit bizzare but I like it. Very interesting musings on family and relationships that tie you to places, just like his memoir, Where Rivers Change Direction
