the tale told by death is in the beginning hard to get used to, i found it strange reading a book being told in a certain perspective, but after 2 chapters you get sucked in by the tragic story being told. the book thief has all the right elements; love, hate, tragedy, drama, and every once in a while even a bit of humor. i think its an original book covering WW2, compared to other books on this subject. it made me cry on the train home to my student city, made me laugh on the same train as well. i really reccommend it!
Another great John Wells novel by Berenson. It was hard to put this one down. Solid plot and great characters, don't miss this one.
