Kitap çok iyiydi ama ben onu sevdi. Özgürlük için savaşan süper kahraman gençler hakkında. Bu kitapta öldürülen ebeveynlerin kriminal olduklarından emin olurlar. Orada ebeveynleri öldürdüklerinde alex grubunun lideri kötülük yapıyor ve onlara karşı dönüyor. Sonunda Alex'i öldürüyorlar ve bir sonraki kitap başlıyor
Most of these (not all) are pretty good if you like the genre, which I do.
It took me two tries to get through this one; but once I picked it up the second time with the express purpose of finishing, it was all worth it. Happened to be while on a vacation with my family where they were pissing me off so bad, I decided to sit alone in the Disneyland Motel lobby all day listening to Musak versions of classic Disney songs instead of go with the family to the theme park designed for happiness and glee. I still contend it was worth not being around my family for a day during puberty.
I've been a huge fan of Neil Gaiman's work since a friend recommended his stuff a few years ago. When I saw this one come out I was very excited, since I do a unit on trickster tales (which focuses heavily on Anansi) with 4th or 5th graders. I've had the book for over 6 months and for some reason just can't pick it up. I mean, I have picked it up and read some of it...and every time I do I'm sucked in. But once I put it down again...I'm done. I can't make myself finish it. It's a work in progress. I'm hoping to finish it at some point.
Ajaran-ajaran Hindu yang terangkum di dalamnya mungkin belum mencakup seluruh isi Kitab Suci Weda (sekalipun disebut Kitab Suci Bhagavadgita), tapi untuk mencoba memahaminya saya perlu berulangkali membacanya (meskipun tetap saja tidak paham benar). Banyak ajaran laku hidup baik yang bisa kita petik dari kitab ini. Dan ... cover-nya menarik :-)
