Have heard so much about the series. I like the plot but I found the writing disjointed and chopping. Mac was a bit annoying with her nail polished and mani-pedi. She apparently didn't want to be labelled a barbie, yet she was one to the core. Don't even get me started on her obsession with pink -.- And her rainbow dress - let's just say the author should stick to the seelie and unseelie and not delve into Mac's fashion sense because it comes off as serious wardrobe malfunction. This book is the first of many [not sure how many there are] to come in this series so naturally there's a lot more we'll find out as we go along the way. I'm extremely close to my sister and the first few chapters, with her parents coping with the loss and Mac herself. I truly felt their distress, I can't imagine having to find out your sister is brutally murdered. Anyways, Barrons was quite an interesting character and kudos to the man for putting up with an idiot like Mac. For someone who was outright in denial at being told other being exist, she sure got used to the idea pretty quick. Was not too convincing. I wish the books were a tad more descriptive, I know Mac is pretty and Barrons is crazy handsome but I'd like to be the judge of that myself. Also, not sure how Mac could contain her curiosity regarding the mysterious Barrons, he's probably some super powerful top tier super being. Anyways, I'm hoping Mac's character develops nicely in the series, and to see a lot more action. And some Mac and Barrons would not hurt. Definitely no :D I just hope I'm not made to wait to just read about their first kiss till book 3 or 4 ._. Because no! T.T I do not want that. Why does this always happen to couples I like.

A clear explanation of a subject that is often misunderstood What is the requirement for salvation? What does it mean to be "saved by grace?" What of the so-called "Lordship" salvation? What place do works have in our life and how do they affect our salvation? Ryrie answers these and many other questions in a straightforward and comprehensive way. If you have any question about what kind of salvation Jesus purchased for us, and what qualifies us to partake in "So Great Salvation" then you should read this book. It rocks!
