I loved this book. I laughed and cried while reading it. I was also interested to learn more about the Japanese people that were relocated during WWII. It's not something that is talked about much.
the singley best book i've ever read. i fell in love with dexter from the very beginning, and i found myself smiling with everyword he spoke. it had been a while since i had actually laughed out loud at a book, but with Dexter's band: Truth Squad, it was impossible not to. Every character had so much.. well character. and description and it was so easy to visualize each person, and how they would be in real life. i cried when the book ended. and read it again. and cried, again. a true love story in so many ways. perfection in my eyes, sarah dessen is genius.
