Loved Mad Dog Love by Angela Knight, despite slight wonkiness in the world building. Generally, I enjoy her sci-fi romances a lot more than I do her Mageverse stuff. The hero her, Rance, won me over despite his ridiculous name because he was a decent guy. No alpha caricature him, despite being a tall, intimidating shape shifter. Instead he was intelligent, thought before he acted, and had the grace to apologize to the heroine when he was wrong. Didn't care for the Leigh story at all, but then again I just don't like her style, her heroes or her heroines, so that's no surprise. The Alyssa Day story fits onto her Atlantean universe and was passably entertaining but nothing more. I didn't like the Virginia Kantra story. I can't say it was badly written, just not enjoyable to me.
The Women's Murder Club Series is fun to listen to. It's always a good and entertaining mystery.
