كتاب جميل يمتاز بالحيادية التامة المطلوبة خاصة في كتب التاريخ ويعد مصدر من المصادر القليلة المؤرخة لتلك الفترة من تاريخ العرب قبل الاسلام هو ومؤلفات د. جواد العلي في الترتيب التاريخي يأتي ذلك الكتاب أسبق من كتب د. جواد وقد أعتمد عليه د. جواد قد يعيب ذلك الكتاب عدم بته في بعض الأمور ولكن قد يعزو ذلك لقلة المصادر والحفريات في تلك الفترة ولكنه كتاب جيد وخاصة انه يعطي فكرة عامة عن تاريخ تلك الفترة
So this writer decides it would be really cool to see what it's like to live like a person who HAS to work at Wal-mart, who HAS to live in a trailer and who can't afford to go out to eat, even at McDonald's, like, ever. She does plenty of research but really, I was not crying for this woman. I guess it's tough to be 50 and have to get on your hands and knees to scrub the floor like the other Merry Maids, and bully for her for actually getting into the story, but geez. As much as she is able to illustrate how hard living on the edge is, especially when you don't know how to "work the system," I wanted to laugh at some of the arbitrary rules she invented for herself. Still interesting and illuminating.
