I finally finhised the book. I struggle listening to this audio book. This one is book that the printed copy would have been better to read. The audio book reference many appendices and maps that were supposed to be on the audio disk but were not there. I relisten to several tracks to comprehend to what the author was saying. The author does make a couple suggestions towards the end, which might work but will be difficult to achieve because both sides are not willing to compromised in my opinion. Both side want the same land and be recognize as the soveriegn states in the region. The only way this can be resolve is through strong leadership by both sides to compromise and through prayer.
We listened to the audio version as we drove to Indiana this week. The actresses reading the book are amazing. What a great story. I seem to be reading lots of books lately about The Jim Crow South.
This book was just as good as the first one. Lots of suspense and wanting to punch Kelsey for doing this and that. Kishan has a bigger role in this one than the first one. Ren has a bit of a smaller part :( , but the book was excellent and I really can't wait for the next one. I just have to see what happens!!
