I'm amazed by how much I had forgotten! There was so much going on in this book and so many surprises by so many different characters! I feel like we learned a lot more about history and people's true sides in this installment. Riordan definitely left more panic at the end of this one compared to the others and I'm thrilled to dive right into book 5!
I bought a gorgeous edition of this translated by Emma Rose with artwork by Sara Fanelli. I mistakenly took this to indicate the quality of the story. Perhaps I'd feel differently if I were in 2nd grade, but there was little to no character development and little rhyme or reason for his behavior or that of anyone else. Don't waste your time on this. If only I hadn't bought it!
