A fun read, but nothing really exciting. I felt like it was well-trodden territory, with the tiniest twist that being a vampire wasn't nearly as cool as it is in other fiction. Some of the scenes seemed like unnecessary filler trying to boost the word count, but nothing too outrageous.
It's the children's print version of a Sid and Marty Kroft program. Awesome.
