An amazing sequel to an amazing book in an amazing series. The book is in a journal form depicting the adventures of teenage rebel Nick Twisp, after we last saw him in Payne's previous novel "Youth in Revolt".Payne does it again! cant wait to get my hands on the next book to this great series.
What could be more fun than the exploits of the Knight of the Rueful Figure and St. Paunch? While the book is a romp and good fun, it's also a wistful commentary on the rise of the modern world, which has no use any longer for chivalry and heroism, other than as objects of mockery.
I really enjoyed this book. It was difficult to read at times because of the copy I had received from someone else was not in the best shape but I would recommend it for anyone who likes this genre.
