So much better than than HBO mini-series. Doesn't get bogged down in minutia like the Truman book by McCullough and makes a good case for Adams as one of the great 3 founding fathers alongside Washington and Jefferson, more involved in day-to-day politics that Washington but more levelheaded than Jefferson, with whom Adams often sparred although the two eventually developed a mutual respect despite their political differences.
