This one is a real wierd one. Mary lives in a village that is in the midst of a forest and surrounded by fencing. The fence is to protect them from the Unconsecrated - those who are basically the undead with a hunger for the living. Mary can't believe that her village is all that is left of humanity. When the fences are breached Mary, her brother, and several friends find they must follow the fenced path to see where it leads. While traveling this path they learn more about themselves and what matters most.
