Chick lit is NOT dead! It is alive and well and thriving in these books by Kristan Higgins. 'Just One of the Guys' was hilariously funny- not only the crazy situations but the way the main character explains them had me laughing out loud (something I haven't experienced while reading contemporary romance in a LONG time). The main character's voice was so realistic, I felt like she was a lifelong friend by the end of the book. I'm officially a Higgins fan and will be reading the rest of her collection!
