I read the Baxter series in a matter of a few short weeks...couldn't wait to see what would happen next!
Wow. This book was amazing. I had fluctuated from a 4.5 stars to 5, but considering I'm still thinking about it after I'm done tells me something. I cried while reading this book - I have no idea when that last happened. There was some time in the middle that I felt some slight dragging, but it ended quite quickly. The only other slight downside is that it was emotionally draining at times - I couldn't stop thinking about it at night when I put it down and wanted to finish it to find out what was going to happen. A story of twin brothers, joy in the practice of medicine, and the beauty of family - whatever your definition of it might be. May be one of the best books I've ever read, what a wonderful writer!
