This was an all Jason book, and I really like the way this series is going. I read this one on the plane to Holland and it went so quick that I kind of forgot to sleep. Oh well, either way, enjoyable read and I'm sad that there isn't another book I could've started right afterwards. This is the first time I'll have to wait for another Anita Blake book. Booo!

The best parts of this book were the Shakespearean in-jokes, which were extremely amusing if you catch them. The plot, however, was extraordinarily slow moving (and sometimes non-existent). Overall, it's a good book with a really interesing concept, great choice of lead character (Shakespeare himself) and excessively diverting "in-jokes" for all the Shakespeare fans.

I understand that this book was written by a westerner who probably trampled on geisha history once or twice. But I thought the story was beautiful and I loved each and every character. I think, as a story, its wonderful.

This is the first book that ever made me cry.

Wouldn't we all want a love like theirs? Who knows... if we nurture it now, maybe we will.
