So glad I made it through "In The Woods" and then picked this one up. Tana French didn't disappoint with this one. It's like she found her voice with "The Likeness" and then found her groove with "Faithful Place." I thought I knew who the killer was, but French does a great job of throwing red herrings and getting you off of the killer's scent until the very end. And unlike with "In The Woods," this one provided closure, which is needed in a mystery novel. We as readers are just as anxious as the victim's families to obtain closure. I felt cheated with "In The Woods" but not with this one. Much more satisfying.
