Despite the fact that everyone went a bit rage about this book, I found myself being unable to finish it. So, saying I've 'read' it is a bit of a lie. I read half of it. Then skimmed it until the end. It's not like it wasn't predictable or anything. I guess it just didn't hold my interest. It wasn't that the story wasn't the emotional roller-coaster ride you'd expect from Picoult, it was more that I just can't stand lapses in the story. I need to be entertained for a whole chapter. There's no point in going cold for 3, and then expecting the reader to keep reading. But, I would still recommend this. Especially if you plan to see the movie. Always read a book before the movie. Movies are only rarely better than the book. Trust me on this.
ok, not one of my favorites - takes place on a ranch. It is primarily about familial relationships, but lacked the spark of some of her older novels.
Sorry, I'm listening to this book and the actor is fantastic. it was so awesome. this book confirms wally lamb as one of my favorite authors
