I almost gave up on this story but decided to keep going. It was well worth it. Though the beginning feels a little hollow and methodical, by the time you get to the end - you realize that's the point. My favorite character though is neither Grace nor Seamus (Who I now have a literal - as in literature- crush on) but Hilary aka Larry her young niece. The relationship between Grace and Larry really is the cornerstone in the story and it's this relationship that pulls Grace through it all. It's a story about mental disorders, obsession, emptiness, fulfillment and life.
