Membaca buku ini membuat saya berfikir kembali mengenai pekerjaan yang saya geluti sekarang... Karir yang akan saya bangun nantinya... Apakah sesuai dengan passion yang saya miliki. Sebelum jauh ke situ, kembali lagi saya menelisik hati saya, apakah sebenarnya yang menjadi passion saya.. Kejujuran untuk berani mengejar karier yang sesuai dengan pasion tentulah memerlukan proses panjang... Yang membuat menarik buku ini, karena buku ini disertai dengan ilustrasi gambar. Juga seperti halnya buku-buku self-empowerment lainnya terdapat kutipan kata-kata motivasi. Dalam buku ini juga tidak hanya diberikan sekedar teori, tetapi juga contoh kongkrit, penulis membahasakannya dengan seorang rockstar yang berani menapaki karir yang sesuai dengan passion-nya. Ada tambahan buku gratis.. serba-serbi dunia kerja dan pengembangan karir. Cocok buat yang akan mencari kerja, ataupun yang akan beralih kerja untuk membangun karirnya *tips langsung dari seorang coachcareer*
I will write a review in the morning as I can't do it now. But all i can say is that this book deserves 1000000000* stars and that Cassandra Clare is one of the few authors if not the only who can rip my heart in two, then sew it back and the tear the stitches leaving a fresh wound once more. Pre-book release: I NEED to read this ASAP!!!!!
Frustrating as hell, as if the author lost interest in the characters in first half (set in western US) so had one of them move to France; whole rest of book takes place in France, with a new set of characters. OK, Ondaatje, I could live with that but was waiting for some link between the two halves at the end of the book. Unfortunately, that link is never made.... the story just ends in France, with no further reference to the far-more-interesting characters in the earlier half. WTF??? I felt cheated and ripped off. I'll think twice before reading any more Ondaatje.
