This book had so much promise, and the story was set up in such a manner that I came to expect great things. I was sorely disappointed, particularly by the ending. The first Harry Potter is still my favorite!
as with all Picoult, it was riveting and timely and i loved it!
Enjoyed it greatly. Near-future history in a post-literate society fixated on youth and credit ratings. Oh, yeah, China is foreclosing on America. Shteyngart pulls off a nice trick with the readers' perceptions and attitudes about his two main characters. I'll be reading this one again.
