Excellent. It's really her writing that got me, so beautiful, so evocative.
So, OK. I love the Stephanie Plum books, which is why I keep reading these old romances. I am not generally a lover of the genre, but Evanovich writes them light and funny, so I read them. So are lighter and funnier and more "Lucille Ball-like" than others, and those are the ones I like. this - not so much. It was just too predictable and not really all that funny. Not really my cup of tea.
A fun book about how science funded by the feds leads to bad science. And how media frenzy drives people to contact government asking them to do something. All a case of follow the money to find out what really is happening. This book will probably make more than a few people angry as it tries to stay out of political sides while trying to finger point at specific politicians. I also recommend other books in the politically incorrect series.
A horrifying true story, beautifully written.
