Book #17 of 2009 This one was a little eh... It was more like reading two short novellas than one coherent novel. Yeah, the story lines sorta intersected between the 19th and 21st centuries, but not so much that half the book NEEDED to be set in the 19th century. Plus it was kinda like, here's what happened 200 years ago, and then halfway through the book... here's now. I guess I'm sorta hard to please when reading dual time-frame books huh? Anyway, just one more in the sereis to go... and even though these are not the most indepth books I've read or that are out there, and sometimes they are a wee bit annoying... I feel a little sad to be letting the characters go. Dunno if the author has anymore planned. I own this book.
