This is a dear, delightful, memoir-style exploration of lived faith. Readers who are looking for a central argument or thesis will be frustrated, but its focus on personal experience and struggles is extremely relational and real. It isn't a theology argument; it's a reflection on how it all plays out.
My favorite experience reading this book aloud to a group of children: After I was done, I told them that when they are older, they may want to read the continuing story of the animals, in a book called "Animal Farm". I made the teacher snort. Hee
It just keeps getting better! Some surprise twists and turns and an action-packed few hundred page turns later and I'm left wanting the third book. Definitely high on my lists of series' I love. Highly recommended!
Couldn't put in down! This book was very different than I thought it would be and darker.
Decent 2nd book with a bit more character development for Rizzoli. Still nothing much for Isles. Book was a bit tepid until the last 2% or so. Good crime read and at some point, I'll probably read the next one. Not terrible but not great - hence the three stars
