5 yıldız vermememin tek nedeni akademik bir tez (uzun bir tez) gibi yazılmış olmasıdır. Konu aydınlatıcıydı. Bu inanılmaz kadın ve kadın hareketi ve son gün aziz kadınlar için ne kadar yaptığı hakkında hiçbir fikrim yoktu. Yazık ki şu anki LDS kilisesinde yaygın olarak bilinen bir figür değil. Erken LDS kilisesinin politik olarak ne kadar yer aldığını görmek de ilginçti.
İlk sayfayı okuduktan sonra bu kitabı yazamadım! Çok heyecan verici.
This was an easy, entertaining read. I'm curious to see if she'll write a sequel.
This book is just one giant fu*k-fest. And believe me, I'm not overreacting. It needs a lot of less sex and a bit more about the characters and their struggle, tha way it is now it's just erotica. I was intrigued by some characters, and will probably just read a few pages from the next books to see what's going on, but the sex is way too much.
interesting point of view on relationships and politics
This book was recommended from a friend and fellow reader. I have to admit I kind of sighed when she handed it to me because of the long length. Sometimes you are just so busy and it is hard to commit to a long one, but this was well worth the commitment! Very interesting story that takes place in an Ethiopian hospital. In the first chapter, a nun (nurse), who has been secretly hiding a pregancy goes into labor and dies giving birth to a set of twins, who live...I'll let you read the rest...It has a few surprises in the end.. :-)
