This was a cleverly written murder mystery set in a town not far from where I live. The detective's preteen daughter added a fun touch.

Like all of the other HP books, there are no words for how positively amazing it is. The first 4 books had their own little plots: the Stone, the Chamber, MWP&P, and the Tournament. In this book, the war against Voldemort really begins, now that he is back. Harry also seems to be maturing rapidly in this book; realizing that there is so much more to the why Voldemort went after him and his parents, yelling, wanting to be in on all the secrets he now knows that people are keeping from him, and yelling some more. He is also now fighting against the Ministry also. One of the highlights of this book would have to be the D.A. The bond between all of the members, united against the Ministry, was very strong, with the exception of Cho's friend (whose name I have temporarily forgotten) and Zachariah Smith. During this time, Harry's friendship with Neville, Ginny, and other members strengthens immensely. In general, the school (except for Slytherins), even the teachers, really unite against Umbridge.
