So this guy has a blog -- who knew? Well, apparently everyone but me. He has spent years as a waiter in a "nice" restaurant, and my God does he have stories to tell. I have always thought that everyone should spend a year or 2 working in retail or food service, because then people wouldn't be such a$$holes to people who wait on them. Barring that, perhaps they should read this book, because knowing the vengeful ways a wait staff can get back at you if they think you are an a-hole, perhaps people would behave a bit more like civilized humans. Fun read. Yes they do spit in your food.

I picked this up because it got great reviews and I have to say I was a little disappointed. I'm already sold on the whole concept that the western world needs to wake up and smell the coffee about how the rest of the world lives (often because of us), and I felt like the message here came on a little strong. It annoyed me and I felt like the story was a bit contrived.
