Typical James Patterson- no surprises. Very predictable.
I thought this book was amazing. It kept my attention, even though battle scenes and tactical maneuvers (which, in most movies bore me) I really fell in love with the main character and the supporting characters as well. There is a good enough cliff hanger that I will definitely be reading the next book!!!

I think Rachael Morgan and Sookie Stackhouse should become best friends...they are both idiots and get into so much trouble because they are dumb. However, I did enjoyt this story more than the first one. I loved the mystery of what Trent actually was, was finally revealed, but I wonder how much else will come out about her father. I also wonder how her relationship with her "familiar" will go now, haha. The end turned out the be the best part of the book, I liked how things tied up at the end, and she was actually smart there!
