This book grabbed me from the beginning w/the narrator being death. You fall in love w/Liesel and her dear friend Rudy. It's such an interesting way to portray that awful time of Hitler's regime. I became so emotionally involved w/this book, and tears were running down my face as I finished it.
Has possibilities as a lesson set for my students.
