Lame, not the book the ending. I really liked the story and the characters were very well written but I did not like the ending. When I read I am not looking for realistic I am looking for happy endings where those in love end up together. I know as a member of the church the decision I would have made in this situation is the same but I really wanted them to end up together, it's a book it could have happened the author could have changed the way at least Michael viewed things. They were in love and had such a deep connection and need for eachother that it made my heart ache at the end to see them seperated. I will just have to finish the story in my head that maybe in a few years they come back together and stay together.
This is such a great story with terrific characters. I enjoyed it a lot!
I know. It's obvious coming from me. But it's my favorite story.
I love Russian dynastic history. This fed that little need of mine, while still being full of action and empty dialogue. Great for vacation.
Depressing and weird. Couldn't finish it in 4 months.
