I've always taken a fascination to women's daily lives throughout history as we know it. This is a story of one woman's journey at the turn of the last century. She learns you can indeed fly in the face of society and march to the beat of your own drum ... but in a society that is so restrictive, there's a high cost that comes with it, and is she equipped to deal with it? I can relate to it as I look at the roll of leadership in a community. As a leader you have to be willing to go-it alone sometimes.
