Clementine is a novel set in Cherie Priest's Clockwork Century world. It was entertaining but not as good as Dreadnought. Heck, it wasn't even as good as Boneshaker. Fortunately, it bears no connection to either of those novels and you can go ahead and skip it if you want to. I really like the production of this audiobook. I like how they used a female narrator for the female protagonist's chapters and a male narrator for the male protagonist's chapters. It really got to be a lot of fun when the two came together and Dina Pearlman would do Belle Boyd's dialogue in Captain Hainey's chapters and vice-versa. Unfortunately, the story was pretty weak, and I found it fairly implausible. If you've already read Boneshaker, just go ahead to Dreadnought and don't worry about this one unless you just can't get enough of The Clockwork Century.
