the idea of a Broadway show based on a book based on a movie based on a political satire ok im interested And woa what a load of wind more than the tornado that brought the house down Waffle is not in it it is awful i skipped pages of reams of words like he was typing off a thesaurus it was drivel, and made no sense this book needs to be half this size and a nice small pocket sized paperback what a BRILLIANT idea a gem of possibilities so star for that and the Art work ,but woa it is lost here how Broadway made something of this or saw anything in it i do not know it is a brilliant idea i want the novelization of the stage show this is boring and been put down more times than read its hard to navigate jumps around and Elphaba changes so drastcaly and leaves so much loose thread around it is like a string factory she is the witch where is the Magic in short this book is a wasted opportunity that is a brilliant premise and idea Mcguire thinks himself tolkein and is anything but When i was told of the play i was hesitant after this but wow thats what it should of been A book that makes no sense contradicts itself and leaves un answered and questions hanging with reems of chapters of empty meaningless over padding words
