For such a short book, this took me a while to read. But it was worth it.
There is just so much to like about this book. It all begins with the language, which is simply beautiful and haunting, but it all ends with the equally haunting and beautiful characters. Perhaps what I like most about this book is that even though it is told from the perspective of three distinct characters - three male members of the Compson family - it is the character who is the object of their discourse, Caddy, who jumps off the page the most. She blows me away every time i read this book.
