This book was fabulous. The detail was amazing, the pace intense and engaging. This is a love letter to the 80s, an homage to John Hughes, and an impassioned tribute to video games. I love the sci-fi in this book as well. I stayed up late multiple nights in a row and ended up finishing the last few chapters before I left for work today.
A rarity, a movie I like more than the book! Of course, the book is actualy a 40 page short story.
This ended up being pretty good. And ok, I did like the movie, so sue me.
