A truly lovely book for Dutchies and expats. If you are an expat in Holland and would love to know a little bit about our weird culture: Do read it! Some things seem exaggerated, but it does give you a good view of our lovely little country. For the Dutchies: Gewoon met een korreltje zout nemen en genieten van het boek. Het is hilarisch als je je ineens beseft hoeveel soorten manieren van doortrekken onze toiletten hebben!
GREAT book. If you've heard his life story from the election, you'll find that there are no surprises here. However, there is insight into those experiences and some probing questions are asked about what it means to be black in America.
I thought it was science-fiction, which it's not. It's fantasy, and not particularly interesting fantasy. Some people may like it, specially those inclined to "images/scenes" rather than ideas/facts.
My father read this to me a few years ago, and I enjoyed it a lot - so did my father.
