For some reason black holes have always fascinated me, and I stole this book from my grandpa's bookshelf when I was in about 5th grade. Even now, as I've looked over it since, it still provides cogent explanations of black holes, how the fabric of space and time and inextricably woven together, and how gravity - which is no more massive than with a black hole - makes all of these topics come together. Just as interesting as one of Hawking's books, if not more so in fact. It is the first book on physics and astronomy I ever read, and it hooked me.
