Like THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STORY and THE LAST CHANCE SALOON, Keyes writes a multiple POV narrative, here. I'm not a particular fan of this formula in general, but somehow Keyes makes it work for her, usually giving a fair amount of pages to each protagonist, and nicely weaving them into each other's storylines to keep all the leads relevent. Inevitably, I choose a character I like more than the others and in this case, it's Ashling. If you like your chick lit to have more conflict than contrivance, I highly recommend a Keyes novel.

"The best of us, didnt come back". One of the sentences in the book that will stick with me. Did you know that a group of 250 people rather starved for one complete day, than to have one their comrades hanged? Another interesting and fast read, recommended.
