A survivor story. Although the plot line, a family in the North trying to survive against the hardships of the environment and a man intent on what he sees as owed him regardless of how, is different that Paulsen's Hatchet, the local and tone of the story brings that book to my mind. Read the book to see how the title "Revolver" contributes to the struggle to survive. Look for a unexpected twist in the conclusion.
